Please see the links below for the final approved map and the signed resolution. The Claremont Unified School District appreciates the time and attention the public gave the Trustees regarding feedback and testimony on the proposed draft maps.
At the February 17, 2022 meeting of the Claremont Unified School District Board of Education, the Board considered testimony on the draft maps and ultimately decided to approve Draft Map 113 as the proposed map to transition to Trustee areas starting in the November 2022 election. CUSD Approved Resolution 10-2022
L.A. County Committee on School District - Approval of Proposal
December 21, 2018
The Claremont Unified School District, like hundreds of cities and school districts across the state, considered changing how voters elect its Board of Education during a regular meeting of the Board on December 2018. Currently, five members are elected from the school district at large and serve four-year terms. Beginning in November 2022, voters will vote for one Board Member who lives in their district. This would replace the current system of at-large district-wide elections in which voters have the ability to vote for all Board of Education members.
