Condit STEAM Lab

STEAM

I am excited for a new year ahead in the Steam Lab! Two years ago, thanks to the generosity and the support of our fabulous PFA and a team of dedicated parent volunteers, we were able to convert the traditional Computer Lab into a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Lab. This was certainly a big change, but it turned out to be very fulfilling both for me and our students.

Each year with the help of our extraordinary teachers I try to plan a balanced curriculum to incorporate all the elements of STEAM! Our goal for the STEAM lab is to create a welcoming space that is designed to make our students feel comfortable, confident and curious! Generally, students work together in small groups, and in doing so, develop their critical thinking and collaborative skills. Every attempt is an opportunity for learning and new experiences help foster growth.

I look forward to this school year teaching our students the skills they need for a better future! Feel free to stop by and check out our cool lab! Please email me at sgadgil@cusd.claremont.edu if you have any questions.

Stay Curious!
